What Trump and the Republicans have stumbled upon is the GOP version of the “celebrity presidency” of Obama … Sarah Palin may be a national joke but she was correct in her identification of Obama as a celebrity … He was. It was the reason Palin, also a minor celebrity, was added to the ticket, to balance off Obama… Trump is the ultimate celebrity … And the GOP’s answer to Obama … Lets nominate a reality TV star… Creator of “Celebrity Apprentice” have him say a bunch of crazy things to get the Tea Party people going…. And it’s working. I don’t believe for a second that the Republican Party is worried about Trump getting the nomination… Marco Rubio is the fall guy …. It makes them look like they are not pushing a arch-conservative racist for the nomination of their party. But when Trump is nominated, they will say: “hey we tried”. Stay woke people.
